What a great question! The truth is that the answer is down to your personal needs, opinions and end goal. If your looking to promote your business online; selling goods and services, then Google is the best for your needs. Its the internet's financial hub. the same goes for if you are looking to buy financial products and services on the net. Google has made it quite clear that it favour's big business and corporate companies have been artificially boosted in Google's top 10 results over smaller less powerful organizations. The one problem with Google's results are that the top 100 results can be terribly repetitive, lacking in uniqueness. If your looking for the best results for research purposes then Bing is the best. The results in Bing are less affected by site owners competing for traditional search terms and as such I believe the best true organic results on the web are found on bing.com. It looks great too and it has really fast loading pages. If your looking for the best news, reviews and anything to do with the high street, then Yahoo is your answer. Again, they are a mighty impressive provider of news and celebrity. |
